The main aim of the project was to describe a set of competences required to the 'new' teacher in order to be able to act in an educational environment which is part of the worldwide context and to give some examples and suggestions on how they are enhanced to acquire and how to use them. We are now able to present a full report on the research "Concepts and tools to develop teachers' international competences" together with the names of the project team, an executive summary and the transcription of a focus group on the emerging issues underlined by the participants. The report was the base of the debate we had in two different seminars held in Italy: · the Montegrotto Seminar that took place in September 2004 · the Bergamo Seminar that took place in November 2004.
